What Are Quilters Blogging About Today?

This morning was one of those nights where I couldn't sleep. I should have gotten up and worked on something but I didn't. 

I played on my tablet most of the morning. I ended up chatting with other alliances to get them to stop the stupid fighting. They are killing the kingdom. I have a feeling that the one person who won't compromise is the one that betrayed me in May. It's going to be interesting. He won't budge and neither will I. So, that kingdom is doomed. lol That took a couple hours chatting ...

 This morning we decided to go to Costco for some shopping. We picked up a few things that we needed and enjoyed just looking around. Interesting how expensive that can get! lol At least this trip wasn't a doctor's appointment! 

Came home and worked on QOV stuff. I got the certificates done for tomorrows presentation. Put a message on the Facebook page. Then I put 3 labels on 3 quilts. I tagged the quilt for Patrick's friend and have that ready to go. It was a busy day for odds and ends.

This morning I left early to go to Safeway and get mom some flowers. I didn't have a gift for her Birthday and Mother's Day. I also took her my beaded box. She wanted it when I showed it to her awhile back. She was crazy about it. I also stopped and got her a chai tea. 

I arrived early. Then Hildi arrived and we got her caught up on what has been going on. We decided to have the others in the Friday group come the first Friday of each month. We will still do every Friday ...

 Today I was up early and out the door. I wanted to get to the "Compprime" computer place before heading to moms. I stopped and told them I bought this computer and have a ton of requests from Microsoft. I don't want all my accounts hooked to Microsoft. They don't need to know what I'm doing. Just Google me and you'll know anyway. 

So, I stopped and brought my laptop into him. It requested that I put a code in to open my laptop. We entered the code and then he fixed it to remove it ...

I just realized I didn't do my blog last night. We had company yesterday. AND I did get some cross stitching done before they came. 

I was able to get this far yesterday. 

Today I was up a little late but still made it to moms by 9:45. She was getting ready for Nancy and Carmen. We chatted and she told me my sister-in-law has Covid. She also has COPD, so Covid isn't going to help her. My niece (not to bright) went to her parents (my brother's) for Christmas to be with the rest of ...

 This morning I went to Starbucks to get coffee and tea for Mom, Nancy and myself. Then off to moms. 

Arrived early at moms. She was cleaning up and getting ready for Nancy to come. When Nancy came we sat and worked on our projects. Mom quilted, Nancy and I appliqued. I worked on the Forest Glorest quilt. 

This is one of the quilts that was marked for my brother and his wife. She's been quilting on it for awhile. There are 96 blocks and she said she was at 38 today. She's getting there. I'm thinking ...

 I headed over to moms this morning. It was the first time in a month that we were at her place. She had to stay away from everyone when she came back from Vegas a couple weeks ago. It was nice to see everyone. Poor Hildi has a brace on her hand. She had to have surgery after she jabbed a knife in her left hand. She hit an artery and nerves. So, they had to repair the nerves. I was able to give out 4 quilts to get the bindings done. Mom said she would do one, but she ...

 This morning I got a few things together to go to moms. I dropped off fabric and tomatoes for Georgie. I actually called her but she was already gone for the day. Told her to go to moms for the fabric and tomatoes. 

As I was leaving the house, I saw the flowers looking awesome!

 This morning I was out the door and on my way to moms. She called just before I got there to tell me to park in her garage. When I got there, the garage didn't have room for me. She has too much stuff on the left side of her garage for me to even get in there. The neighbor was having his RV in the road and wanted to let us all know he would be in the roadway. So, we needed to be aware of that.

Today I was up and out the door to moms. I stopped and some something to drink. Then headed to moms. As I was leaving Starbucks I noticed I had  points that were expiring tomorrow. So, I sent Patrick a message and asked him what he wanted from Starbucks. 

It's been a long time since I've been to the Grange. I needed to go to Oakview Grange in Centralia for our Brazilian embroidery group. They were having a garage sale and I picked up suite case that she opened up. It's on rollers and fits in the upper compartment. I really liked it. It wasn't the color that I would have liked but for a brand new case at $5, it was worth it. 

This morning I was up and ready to go to moms. I loaded up the car with a few things. I took my applique box just in case.

I stopped and picked up some tea for both mom and I. Then I arrived at moms. She wanted me to order a few things for her, so I did. She wanted a photo box - like the box I used for beading - that was listed on line for $25. I told her she could get it cheaper at Micheal's. So we planned on going to Micheal's and then to lunch ...
